How to Delete YouTube Channel on Phone: Two Easy Ways

First, we'll show you how to delete your brand channel. This is the channel that's associated with your brand account. If you don't have a brand account, you can skip this step. Next, we'll show you how to delete your main YouTube channel. This is the channel that's associated with your Google account.

Method #1: Delete a Brand YouTube Channel

If you have multiple channels under your main YouTube account and want to delete one or more of them for any reason, then follow these steps:

Step 1: First, open the YouTube app on your phone.

Step 2: Next, tap the profile picture at the bottom right corner, then tap Google Account.

Step 3: After that, tap the question mark to access the help page.

Step 4: In the search bar, type in manage, then select Manage your Brand Account.

Step 5: From here, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Delete an account. Then tap on the Go to the Brand Accounts section link.

Step 6: Now, scroll down and select the brand YouTube channel that you want to delete.

Step 7: Tap the Delete account button.

Step 8: Now, you'll need to Prove your identity using any of the methods listed here. For example, you can tap Continue, then use your device Screen Lock. But If you prefer to use your Google password, tap Try another way, then select Enter your password. Once done entering your password, tap Next.

Step 9: Scroll down, check both boxes, and then tap Delete Account.

As you can see, the brand channel has been successfully deleted.

Now, to see if your channel has been really deleted, close the YouTube app, then try removing and Re-Adding Your Google Account. once done, re-open the YouTube app and see yourself.

Method #2: Delete a YouTube Channel (Brand or Main YouTube channel)

If you want to delete either a brand YouTube channel or your main YouTube channel, then this method is for you.

Step 1: Let's open the YouTube app on your mobile device. Then, tap on your profile picture at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Next, scroll down and tap on Help & feedback.

Step 3: In the search bar, type in delete, then select Delete or hide your YouTube channel.

Step 4: From here, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Delete your channel permanently.

Step 5: Now, scroll down a bit and tap the YouTube Studio link.

Step 6: You'll need to select the right channel that you want to delete. To do so, zoom in a bit, then tap the profile picture at the top right corner. Next, tap Switch account and choose the YouTube channel that you would like to permanently delete.

Step 7:Scroll down to the bottom left corner and tap the gear icon (Settings).

Step 8: Tap on Channel, next tap Advanced settings. Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Remove YouTube content. You'll be asked to confirm your identity. Do so using any of the methods provided.

Step 9: Once here, Select I want to permanently delete my content.

Step 10: Check both boxes, and then tap Delete my content.

Step 11: Type in your channel name or email address exactly as it appears, then tap Delete my content.

And that's it! Your channel has been permanently deleted.
