Step 1: First, let's open the YouTube app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Tap on your profile picture at the bottom right corner. Then, tap the gear icon at the top right corner.
Step 3: Next, tap on Your data in YouTube.
Step 4: Scroll down and tap on Manage your YouTube Search History. You will see a list of all your watch and search history.
Step 5: If you just want to delete a specific search entry, tap on the X icon besides it, then tap Delete in the popup that appears.
Step 6: To delete all your YouTube search history, tap on the Delete button. Select Delete all time, then in the next page, tap Delete.
Step 7: If you want to stop YouTube from saving your history, you can pause it permanently. To do so, tap on CONTROLS at the top. Next, tap the TURN OFF button, then tap Pause.
