Have you ever come across a video on Facebook that you wanted to save for offline viewing? If so, you're in luck! In this blog post, I'll show you how to download Facebook videos on both PC and mobile devices. Whether it's a video from your feed, a friend's post, or a page you follow, I'll guide you through the process of saving it directly to your device in just a few simple and easy steps.
If you're using a PC or laptop, you can download Facebook videos by following these simple steps:
The first step is to find the Facebook video you want to download. This can be a video from your feed, a friend's post, or a page you follow.
Once you have found the video, hover your mouse over the Date/Time stamp at the top left corner of the video post. Then, right-click and select Copy link address from the menu.
Now, launch a new tab in your web browser. In the address bar, paste the video link you just copied.
At the beginning of the URL, replace web or www with mbasic. Then, hit Enter to load the mobile basic version of Facebook.
You'll see the video in a simplified interface. Click on the video to open it in a new window.
While the video is playing, right-click on it. Select Save Video As... from the menu.
You can give it a name if you want, then choose a destination folder on your computer where to save it and press the Save button.
That's all you need to do to download and save a video from Facebook to your PC or laptop.
If you're using a smartphone, you can download videos from Facebook by following these steps:
Get started by firing up the Facebook app on your mobile device.
Next, find the video that you would like to download.
Once you find the desired video, tap the three dots above it, then select Copy link.
After that, open the Google Chrome browser app (or any browser app you like). Tap and hold the search bar, then paste the copied link.
Next, go to the beginning of the URL, change m or www to mbasic, then tap the right-arrow or Go.
At this point, you may be asked to log into your Facebook account, if you haven't logged in already.
Once you do that, you will be redirected to the basic mobile version of Facebook. From there, tap the video to open it in a new window.
Now, just tap the three dots at the bottom right of the player and select Download.
And that's it! The video has been successfully downloaded and you can find it in your phone storage.
