Well, I have showed you before in aand in some how to download a Facebook video using only the mobile version of Facebook, but the downloaded quality isn't as good as the original one. That's why in this tutorial I will share with you another workaround that will let you download Facebook videos in high quality without the need of installing any third party software or any online tool.
Are you ready? If so, let's follow the steps below!
How to Download Facebook Videos in HD Quality?
Find the Facebook video you want to download and make sure it is public (You can only download public videos with this method).
Right-click on Date/Time, then select Copy link address to copy the video link.
Next, logout of Facebook or just go to your browser, open a new incognito window in Google Chrome or New Private Window in Mozilla Firefox, then paste the copied video link in the address bar and press Enter on your keyboard or Paste and go.
Click Not Now.
Now, right-click anywhere on the page and select View page source.
Once you get the source code page, hold down CTRL + F on your keyboard to bring up the search box, then type in hd_src
Highlight the video link that follows hd_src:, then right-click on it and select Go to... (in Google chrome), in Mozilla Firefox, right-click on it and select Open Link in New Tab or Open Link. Make sure to highlight only the link between the quotes.
It should be something like this: https://video.ffez1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/
While the Facebook video is playing, right-click on it and select Save video as....
Finally, rename it if you want, then choose where you would like to save it and press the Save button.
That's it! That's how you download Facebook videos in HD without any third party software or any online tool.
